Dr. Brent Gear, D.O., received his BS in Zoology with minors in Chemistry, Physics, and English from Arizona State University. He earned his Osteopathic Medical Degree from Des Moines University, and completed his Emergency Medicine Residency in the osteopathic program at Provident Cook County Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Gear was a Major in the Army where he spent 14 years focusing on Service and Quality Improvement earning over 14 different medals and commendations for his work. He has practiced Emergency Medicine since 1998, and bariatic medicine since 2012. He is board certified by the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians (ACOEP) and board eligible for the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

Dr. Tanya Scurry is a native southern Californian and earned her B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Washington in Seattle in 1995. After practicing pharmacy in the retail setting for several years she pursued a career as a physician. Dr. Scurry obtained her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean in 2004 where she fell in love with psychiatry and entered a general psychiatry residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City in 2004. After graduating residency she completed an addiction psychiatry fellowship at my alma mater, The University of Washington, where I acquired extensive experience working with many different people from all walks of life who were struggling with all forms of addiction including drugs, pornography, food and internet addiction.
Dr. Scurry has fought her own battle with weight over the years and has tailored her career path to help others who struggle with their weight and weight loss. She is excited to be part of the KE Diet and looks forward to helping other people change their lives, as she did, to be happier and healthier. Dr. Kirson received her Medical Degree from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lutheran General Hospital in 2000 and was in private practice for 15 years. Dr. Kirson went on to pursue advanced training and education in Bariatric Medicine (Medical Weight Loss) and successfully completed the Board Certification Examination administered by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Obesity Medicine, and is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, The Obesity Society and the Nutrition and Metabolism Society. In 2007 Dr. Kirson co-founded Physicians for Weight Loss, a medical weight loss practice in the Chicago area dedicated to the medical management of obesity and related metabolic disorders.
Dr. Kirson has a passion for teaching and a genuine commitment to educating her patients and the community on leading a healthy lifestyle. She has lectured at several park districts on the Prevention of Childhood Obesity, at various health and wellness fairs on Maximizing Your Metabolism, and she has starred in a radio talk show series titled "Spring Into Health With Dr. Kirson" on the Kiki Vale show.
Dr. Gonzales was born in Dominican Republic, where she earned a Cum Laude MD from Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (USAD). She moved to New York in 1989 and received board certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. She is licensed in New York, New Jersey and Dominican Republic. Dr. Gonzalez serves as Chairman of the Board of Community Physicians of New York-Presbyterian/Columbia and as Medical Director, Attending Physician-Internal Medicine at New York Neuro and Rehab Center. In 2000, Dr. Gonzalez founded Amber Medical Spa in New York, N.Y, which specializes in Physician’s Services and Spa Services. Dr. Gonzalez is fluent in Spanish, English and French.

Dr Leonid Isakov is one of the founders of Ocean Medical Pediatric Center established in 2009. He was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (former USSR) where he pursued medicine and graduated with Honor from the Central Asian Medical Pediatric Institute.
His medical experience in former USSR had begun in Red Army as a military doctor and then gradually drifted to the area of Human Genetics as a Director Of State Prenatal and Neonatal Screening Program.
In 2001 he immigrated to the USA and thereafter successfully passed his medical licensing examinations. He completed his Pediatric Residency at Maimonides Medical Center and graduated in 2007. He is a Board Certified Pediatrician and Fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics.
Areas of special interest: Congenital disorders, Metabolic problems and Weight control, Adolescent medicine, Neonatal Jaundice, Tuberculosis screening, Management of common disorders for retarded children and children with special needs.

Dr. Pate received his BS in Zoology and his Masters in Microbiology from North Carolina State University. He earned his MD from East Carolina University. Dr. Pate is founder, owner and Medical Director of Western Wayne Medical Center, and BioSymmetry Hormone Health and Weight Management, with clinics in Goldsboro and Wilmington, NC. He has been practicing family medicine since 1994, and has specialized in obesity medicine since 2010. He is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.

Dr. Berry is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice, the American Board of Obesity Medicine, and is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians (ASBP), as well as the North Dakota Medical Association. Dr Raselette Hunt obtained her MD status from St. George's University School Of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies just after she completed undergraduate education at Florida Atlantic University.While raising a one-year-old and working from home she applied for Family Medicine Residency Programs throughout the country. Dr. Hunt eagerly started her residency tenure at the newly founded Kistler Family Medicine Residency Program at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital in Northeast Pennsylvania and was proud among the Graduating Class of 2012. She worked as a Staff Physician for three years at Geisinger Lewistown Medical Group in Central Pennsylvania and enrolled in the CME pathway suitable for sitting the American Board of Obesity Medicine certification exam in December 2015. Dr. Morris received his medical degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He completed his residency and post-graduate surgical training in South Africa and in England. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. For the past 27 years Dr. Morris has been in private practice in Houston, Texas. He is board certified in Abdominal Surgery and has taught numerous surgical courses. Dr. Morris’s surgical practice encompasses a complete range of procedures, including specialties in laparoscopic, robotic and aesthetic surgery.
