KE Diet Team Attends Philadelphia ASBP Meeting – Welcomes New Licensee Physicians
KE Diet® Founder Dr. Oliver Di Pietro and his colleagues journeyed to Philadelphia last month to attend the biannual meeting of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians (ASBP). After attending a similar meeting in Phoenix last fall, the team was anxious to network with more bariatric physicians and obesity specialists, and to present their scientific findings on the 10-day KE Diet as an effective jumpstart in the treatment of obesity.
“We met with great success,” said Dr. Di Pietro from his Miami headquarters. “Not only is the KE Diet gaining acceptance in the bariatric community as a proven therapy in the treatment of obesity, we were able to sign up several new KE Diet Licensee Physicians at the meeting. By month’s end we expect to have a total of nine,” he added.
Dr. Di Pietro and his colleagues plan to continue this momentum, attending future meetings of bariatric physicians, surgeons, and obesity experts, including:
• The American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgeons (ASMBS) meeting in Miami, Florida, June 19-21
• The International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO) 2014 World Congress in Montreal, Canada, August 26
• The 64th Annual Obesity & Associated Conditions Symposium, sponsored by the American Society of Bariatric Physicians (ASBP) in Austin, Texas, September 10-13
“Our goal is to bring the KE Diet to bariatric practices across the country, so weight loss specialists will have another effective tool in their arsenal in the fight to end obesity,” said Dr. Di Pietro.
